BackBone PR Appoints New Senior
Account Manager
Michele Rubin, Former Managing Editor of Employee Benefit Plan
Review, To Head Up BackBone’s HR Practice
BackBone Inc., a public relations/business development firm,
today announces that it has named Michele Rubin Senior Account
Manager. Ms. Rubin brings 17 years of editorial and human resources
(HR) domain expertise to BackBone and its diverse roster of
HR clients (ranging from providers of HR technology to employee
benefits). Prior to joining BackBone, Ms. Rubin was managing
editor of the prestigious Employee Benefit Plan Review. As
Senior Account Manager, she will be instrumental in developing
and executing media and marketing strategies for BackBone’s
HR clients.

Ms. Rubin is a graduate of New York University where she earned
a journalism degree with a concentration in public relations.
Most recently, Ms. Rubin served as managing editor of Employee
Benefit Plan Review for international business-to-business
publisher Aspen Publishers Inc., (New York). During her 17-year
tenure at Aspen, Ms. Rubin was responsible for developing,
managing, and editing newsletters, journals, and manuals in
the areas of human resources, employee benefits, compensation,
pension benefits, financial planning, long-term care, and occupational
safety and health.
Ms. Rubin will be based out of BackBone’s new Connecticut
office.
